Key Responsibilities:
Transition Management
• Assist in transferring control from the developer to the HOAboard.
• Establish governance procedures, bylaws, and operational policies.
• Facilitate board member training and orientation.
Financial Oversight
• Set up initial budgets, reserve funds, and accounting systems.
• Track developer contributions, assessments, and expenses.
• Prepare initial financial reporting for transparency and planning.
Construction & Amenities Oversight
•Monitor construction of common areas, amenities, and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with community standards and approved plans.
• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and final approvals.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
• Manage contracts for landscaping, maintenance, and community services during the development phase.
• Ensure timely completion of developer obligations.
Homeowner Communication & Education
• Introduce new homeowners to community rules, assessments, and governance.
• Provide guidance on transitioning responsibilities and reporting processes.
Compliance & Legal Guidance
• Ensure the community meets all local, state, and HOA regulatory requirements.
• Document developer obligations and oversee fulfillment of covenants, conditions, and restrictions (CC&Rs).
